New forms of organisation and management have reshaped classic managerial functions and hierarchies. New dynamic management structures resemble networks and create new responsibilities as well as new conditions in general. The freedom to make decisions and take actions is ever changing and expanding. Most executive training concepts focus on the individual and soft factors. Hard factors such as outside conditions are often overlooked and not adapted at all.
We have therefore concluded that future leadership must be results-oriented, because we believe that nobody inherently needs leadership – we rather need the result of leadership.
Following this line of thought in consulting, we therefore move away from optimising managers towards the more realistic and practical idea of shaping leadership.
Operating principles
In our consulting projects, we always define desired results of leadership at the outset in cooperation with our client. Following this, we work out which style of management will allow the company to attain desired results. In the next step, we compare existing and required skills, knowledge, outside conditions and general mindsets. At the end of this process, we develop concrete steps and measures in cooperation with our client.
